- Installation of all types of piles – driving of piles, finished and made in reinforced concrete, classic drilled and drilled CFA piles with a spiral particularly significant in the procedure of construction and foundation of wind generator piles.
The most frequently used technology is CFA piling by using an infinite drilling spiral, in the following procedure:
“OPERATING PLATFORM” TERRAIN PREPARATION
In accordance with the approved design, selected type of piles, geological-geotechnical composition of the terrain at the location where the piles are driven, the “construction plane” must be prepared before commencement of works related to piling. Due to the heaviness of the machinery required for this type of works, the construction plane must be prepared as follows:
Cleaning and arrangement of the terrain.
Terrain stabilization by backfilling and rolling.
The surface made of gravel, sand or crushed stone by great compaction (20-30Mpa) is laid on such prepared base.
The terrain should be drained in such a manner so as to allow for the evacuation of atmospheric waters.
The construction plane consists of the plane for ensuring the movement of the machinery for piling of min 6,0 m width and the plane for ensuring the movement of the mixer and automated pump 3,0 m wide.
The above specified terrain preparation ensures movement and regular operation of the engaged machinery and equipment, correct leveling, alignment and driving of piles and better operating performance.
MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENT
The installation of this type of piles requires the engagement of heavy machinery specially adjusted to this type of works, with the application of specific equipment, tools and accessories.
The machinery is transported to the construction site by truck with the additional equipment, while the assembly is performed by professionally trained staff.
DRILLING TECHNOLOGY
After preparation of the terrain and marking of piles positions, the drilling machine and equipment are installed and levelled.
The tip of the infinite drilling spiral is connected to the concrete pump. The drilling is performed by use of the infinite spiral to the designed depth.
Concrete is then placed through the middle opening of the drilling spiral, from the well opening upwards, while gradually retrieving the drilling spiral from the well.
While retrieving the drilling spiral, the excavated soil comes out and it must be removed from the well. After retrieval of the drill, reinforcement mash is accepted and lifted by the machine cable and installed in fresh concrete mass.
The pile is installed and the machine is aligned for the next position.
At the end of the working day, the system must be rinsed by pressurized water and washing compressor.
